Third Quarter 2015 Housing Market Update for the Triangle NC

This has been a great year for both sellers and buyers here in the Triangle NC!  Home prices are rising allowing more sellers to sell, and historic low mortgage rates are allowing more buyers to buy.


Here are home sales and prices for Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs, and all around the Triangle NC for the third quarter, 2015:





WHILE THERE HAS BEEN LOTS OF ACTIVITY & DEVELOPMENT IN APEX AND OTHER NEIGHBORING TOWNS, INVENTORY OF NEW HOMES REMAINS DOWN

AVAILABILITY OF ALREADY CONSTRUCTED HOMES IS ALSO DOWN FROM A YEAR AGO


PENDING SALES - HOMES THAT ARE UNDER CONTRACT - ARE UP 8% THIS QUARTER


CLOSED SALES - HOMES THAT SOLD - ARE UP 10% OVER LAST YEAR


AVERAGE SOLD HOME PRICE IS UP 4% OVER LAST YEAR TO NEARLY $270,000



DAYS ON MARKET:  42!!  The lowest every recorded by our Multiple Listing Service.
